  • hilidac has created the MQA-Supported Beam 2 which enables you to experience the abundant music details in the artists' recording room. The Beam 2 is the first true BAL + Non-BAL dual earphone ports USB product to offer an integrated MQA renderer hardware, making MQA playback easy and complete. That means allowing it to connect to an MQA Core signal and complete the final unfold step of an MQA file. The Beam 2 LED glows magenta to indicate the unit is rendering an MQA stream or file, where the final MQA unfold is delivered. Sporting a single ES9281C PRO chip from ESS featuring HyperStream II QUAD DAC which allows the left and right channel to operate independently. This, coupled with a dual OP-AMP configuration ensures a True Balanced design for the DAC/Amp. It also comes equipped with two ultra-low femtosecond phase crystal oscillators designed to provide best-in-class audio performance at 118 dB DNR and 0.0003% THD + N.
